News and Testimonials
Welcome to our News page!

Firstly I would like to congratulate Christine Yeoman for her continued success on the International Endurance circuit. Not content with a win at the 160km FEI 3* at Ermelo, Holland earlier in the year, Chris stormed home to win at the Cirencester Park 160km FEI 3* competition in front of the British Team Selectors, and then took yet another first at Argentan 119km FEI 2* at the end of July. Not surprisingly, Chris has been chosen for the World Equestrian Games in Aachen in August, with two of her horses and I wish her the best of luck along with the rest of the team. I am lucky enough to be travelling to a major competition with my young mare at the end of August. Daisha has qualified for the World Endurance Breeding Championships for Young Horses, to be held in Compeigne, France. This is a 120km FEI 2* competition open to all qualified 7 and 8 year old horses. To watch our progress at Compeigne go to www.open-60.com or to learn more about endurance riding go to www.mimi.me.uk

Best wishes

TESTIMONIALS....

Here are a few of the letters and emails sent in after massage and mobilisation treatment of horses and dogs by Nikki Routledge.

Berni is a 15yo Spaniel
“Berni is doing so well after the treatment you gave him, in fact we met a friend while we were out exercising him. She commented on how strong he was walking and said when she saw him first she thought we had a new dog. I can see why she would think this because he is 15 ½ years old and as you know he found it very difficult to walk before his treatment. Many thanks Teresa and John Cridland”

Lady is a 14.2 showjumping mare
“On August 28th 2004 my horse Lady suffered a twisted gut and consequently had surgery. Previous to this we’d had a great first season of showjumping winning more than even getting placed. After almost 3 months off recovering I brought her slowly back into work. As the first two weeks was walking only there was nothing unusual in her behaviour. The trot work went well and late December we started some jumping. We started to have problems in jumping which at first I put down to being stabled and full of beans. Her feed was reduced and work increased and eventually I asked a friend to ride her. She started rearing. We thought perhaps it was resistance but it was so extreme and dangerous that I called Nikki on recommendation from my friend. The last competition we did was on the 24th December and it was embarrassing - she put in stops, ran out and rushed her fences!
Nikki came out to see Lady and I guiltily realised she was in pain. Only 2 weeks after Nikki’s treatment I was selected for my riding club showjumping team to compete. Nikki had said I could pop her over a cross pole the day before the competition so I wouldn’t say I was best prepared but Lady jumped those really nicely and I decided to take her.
The outcome? Lady jumped out of her skin on a really technical course, we picked up 4 faults but the pleasure was in having my Lady back. She hadn’t ridden like that since the colic and I’d forgotten what a great horse she is. Big thanks to Nikki and I just wish they could talk.. Emily”

Heidi is a hunting and jumping mare
“When I got my mare she was in poor mental and physical condition, years of being forced into an outline via the use of draw reins and eventually going up and over, left her whole body twisted and unlevel. She also had a strong flight instinct to nap and rear! Firstly I had her teeth checked, saddle fitted and chucked away all the gadgets. Then I called Nikki out. I did not have much hope as my mare had been this way most of her life but after just one session the difference was phenomenal. Her back was level and within 4 weeks she had a topline! She was still weak but with the exercises Nikki showed me to do and one more session, Heidi now works happily and correctly without force and does not rear with fright. Most of all she is a painfree happy horse. Regards, Julie Pick”
